Theme and color

How to

  1. Open Neo Settings , at the bottom of the side bar, and choose Personalization.
  2. Under Theme, choose Light, Dark, or Device to follow your computer’s setting.
  3. Under “Theme color”, select a color theme for your Neo profile.

Dark mode for websites

“Force dark mode for websites” renders all websites using a dark color scheme, even ones that don’t offer a dark theme of their own.

How to

  1. Turn on “Force dark mode for websites” in Neo Settings › Personalization. It starts off. Turn it off again in the same place.

Address bar options

Show page title in the address bar
Off from the start. Shows the page title instead of the page domain.
Use full address bar width
Off from the start. Stretches the address bar across the toolbar.
Magic Box position
On from the start. Displays the Magic Box in the address bar instead of in the center of the screen.

Your Neo Chat avatar

Customize the look of your Neo’s chat avatar. Pick from Neo, Birdy, Leia, Birdy Jr., Doggo, Pip, Azuki, Chico and Pawel.

How to

  1. Open Neo Settings › AI Mode and choose an avatar under “Neo Chat Avatar”.

Launch Neo on startup

How to

  1. Neo opens when you sign in to your computer from the start. In Neo Settings › Personalization, the “Launch Neo on startup” button reads Disable while it’s on. Choose it to stop, or choose Enable to turn it back on.

Progress, streaks and achievements

Progress turns getting to know Neo into a game. Complete your getting-started tasks and a daily quest, keep a daily streak going, and unlock achievements in Core, Security, Privacy, Productivity, Personalization and Exploration.

How to

  1. Open Neo Settings › Progress to see your level, streak and achievements.
  2. Use “Show Progress” to turn it all on or off, or choose separately whether to show your daily streak, level, daily quest and notifications.
